Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Atlas Law (Sienna 72, 00-833 Warszawa, Poland — "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website, our mobile application, our AI assistant, or contact us to request a legal consultation. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What data we collect

When you submit an appointment request, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, the practice area you're interested in, your preferred date, time and language, and any message or case description you choose to share. If you use our AI assistant, we also collect the messages you send to it. We also process your IP address briefly for security purposes such as bot protection and rate-limiting.

3. Why we collect it

We use this data to respond to your enquiry, schedule and manage your consultation, communicate with you about your appointment, orient you through our AI assistant, and protect our website and app from abuse. This processing is based on your consent, given when you submit the form or use the assistant, and on the steps necessary to enter into a service agreement with you at your request.

4. Who we share it with

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and appointment confirmations are sent using Resend, our email delivery provider. We use Cloudflare to protect our website and app against bots and abuse, and to run the backend services that process your form submissions and enforce rate limits based on your IP address. All of the above process data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements and do not use your information for their own purposes. No online payment is processed through the website or app itself, and we do not receive or store any card details.

5. Our AI assistant

Our AI assistant is designed to help orient you before speaking with a lawyer. When you send it a message, that message is processed by Groq, our AI infrastructure provider based in the United States, in order to generate a response. Because Groq is located outside the European Economic Area, this involves a transfer of your data outside the EEA; by choosing to use the AI assistant, you consent to this transfer. Please avoid sharing highly sensitive personal data with the assistant beyond what is needed to describe your situation. The assistant provides general orientation only and does not replace advice from a licensed lawyer.

6. How long we keep it

We retain appointment data for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. IP addresses used for security purposes are kept only briefly and are then automatically deleted.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its processing, to request a copy of your data in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO).

8. Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to remember your language preference and cookie consent choice. We also load fonts from Google Fonts and use Cloudflare's bot-protection service, both of which may involve your browser connecting to their servers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
